CAPTAIN DENT is a family owned and operated business that has been serving Erie, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area since 1991. We specialize in Paintless Dent repair, an organic automotive repair method that removes dents without the need for filler, sanding and paint. Using specialized tooling and a wealth of knowledge gained over decades of experience, we make dents, dings and hail damage disappear.
Mont Rice
Back in 1991, Mont happened upon the revolutionary repair process known as Paintless Dent Repair. After learning more about the benefits of PDR, he was convinced that this business would be a game changer in the car repair industry - and he was right!
From the humble beginnings of one man and a truck, Mont has become known around Erie as "The Captain." He has extensive experience in not only dent and ding repair, but also hail damage repair and storm management. Mont is a life-long learner who spends his free time studying about the latest advancements in the PDR industry and practicing his tennis serve.
Cindy Rice
Mrs. Captain, Cindy, is a diehard Erietie who loves this city and its people. Whether its helping customers with a ride or chatting the hour away while their vehicle is being fixed, Cindy is always going the extra mile for our great customers.
Danny Bargielski
Since joining the family business in 2009 Danny has become a master technician specializing in dents, dings and hail damage repair. Danny treats every vehicle like his own, ensuring that customers receive the best quality repair. Danny resides in Erie with his wife, many kids and dog, Francis.
Stephanie Rice
At the age of six, Stephanie began going to work with her Dad, the Captain, who entrusted her with the job of handing the bill to clients. Ever since, she has been part of the family business and now assists the Captain on hail storms throughout the Eastern United States.
